Summary on project: In partnership with Getra, the company successfully supplied 40 high-capacity power transformers rated at 125 MVA and 175 MVA, with 220/66 kV voltage levels, for integration into Egypt’s National Electrical Grid. The scope included engineering support, factory testing, delivery, and site handover to ensure reliable operation under high-load conditions.
The transformers were designed and commissioned to meet national grid specifications, optimize voltage regulation, and enhance system stability. The project contributed to strengthening transmission capacity, improving network reliability, and supporting the country’s growing electricity demand.
