Summary on project: Giza North Power Plant stands as one of Egypt’s largest combined cycle developments. Working in close collaboration with Ansaldo Energia, the project was executed under a full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) framework for Cairo Electricity Production Company.

The project involved the realization of a 2250 MW high-capacity combined cycle facility, integrating advanced gas turbine technology with heat recovery steam generators and steam turbine units to achieve enhanced thermal efficiency and operational flexibility. From detailed engineering through procurement, construction, and commissioning, the works were coordinated to ensure seamless system integration, reliable grid connection, and compliance with stringent performance and availability requirements.
